 Project Summary: A few days of single digit temperatures froze the pipes of the sprinkler system in this 5,000 SF day care center, bursting the pipes and flooding the building. DCR received the emergency call on the weekend and started work immediately by extracting water and drying the structure. The day care was worried about losing clients during an extensive closure. DCR dried the building, repaired the pipes, replaced the sheet rock, and repainted and the center reopened in only 10 days. DCR also cleaned furnishings, toys, and other items prior to reopening. The day care was able to keep all of their clients.
