| Description: | The original 145,000 SF corporate headquarters building was constructed in 1998 with an open floor plan for office landscape furniture, cafeteria with kitchen, gymnasium, training and meeting facilities, and state-of-the-art communications systems. Also includes raised computer flooring in server area, and vault with Halon fire suppression system.
The addition added 70,000 SF of office space on two levels and enlarged the cafeteria and parking areas. Use of design/build enabled occupation of this building only fourteen months after design began (conventional design and construction time for a project of this size would be about 24 months). |
