Description
JOSEPH Construction was selected to provide general construction services for the interior build-out of this new facility. The 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art bioplasma testing facility provides testing services for all of CSL Plasma’s approximately 73 plasma collection centers in the United States and Germany. Non-stop 24/7 operation is critical for client services. High quality laboratory tests check each plasma sample for viruses and other pathogens before plasma is approved for manufacturing and sale to the pharmaceutical industry.

The facility includes de-ionized water system, sophisticated HVAC systems, back-up generator sized to run the entire facility, and other features that give this facility recognition as the “world’s most advanced human blood plasma testing facility with on-site specialty vaccine production.”
