Description
Construction of this restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg presented many challenges. JOSEPH Construction Company was responsible for the demolition and removal of existing structures and then rebuilding the new restaurant in a highly congested tourist area with no clearance between neighboring buildings, a city street and utilities at the front of the site. Additionally, there was no parking or lay-down area for construction.
Demolition and new construction were completed within a 6 month schedule, while maintaining pedestrian traffic in front of the building and keeping roadway easements open at rear. Heavy timber construction, a skylight over the bar area, and fireplaces are features of the interior.
